Other than photography, I like listening to music, talking about marketing, throwing dodgeballs, strumming chords, and fixing things.
Some of my favorite authors are Dale Carnegie, Douglas Adams, and Roald Dahl.
I got my start in photography by taking photos of my friends' bands. Then, while studying photography, I worked as an assistant for a local wedding photographer.
I enjoy soreness from a good day's work.
I'll never leave San Diego because of the taco shops.
I have also shot thousands of product photos of jewelry and various other items.
Photographers like to take pictures of all sorts of things, but people are my favorite subject.
I studied Child Development in San Luis Obispo and taught preschool at a child abuse prevention program that was truly amazing. {slocdc.org!} It broke my heart to leave my class, but I moved to San Diego to continue taking photos and and to further study art and design.
Kids are very important to me, and they are of course my favorite subject matter.
If I didn't have plants all over my house, I would go crazy.
My dad grew up and went to college in New York (major: Photography, minor: Communications), and he is continually a source of challenging critiques and motivation.
My Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma are/were artists and I have artwork by all three of them in my house.
Milton Glaser is my design idol, and I really want to meet him and soak up one tiny ounce of his creativity.
I have a weird obsession with extremities...I have collected hundreds of photos of hands and feet over the past few years.
I plan on living in New York in the near future...{Sprouting Image New York AND San Diego anyone??}
I have watched the movie Drop Dead Fred more times than I could possibly count.
I am a vegetarian, but not vegan...I love cheese too much...and mint chip ice cream.
One of my new years resolutions was to plant more succulents.
I am lucky to have two sweet Grandmas, and the memory of two sweet Grandpas.
