PHOTO CLASS FUN - STUDENT WORK

One of my photo students and I went on a fun photo walk recently, and it was lovely! I introduced some new concepts and ideas for her to test out now that she's shooting manually and telling the camera exactly what she wants it to do. Since she's doing so well, I've added a lot more to her future lessons and I am very excited to see what she comes up with next.

OUR SWEET GRANDMA

These are the last photos I took of my creative and ass-kicking grandma. Here she was testing out a charcoal pencil my wife and I got at her request, and after she let out a big “ahhh” while pressing it to the paper I snapped a few photos of her hands and face.

She was always my biggest cheerleader and pushed me to break rules and make new art even if it was just for me. Love and miss you my fiery and lovely Grandma. ✨

FAMILY PHOTOS IN GOLDEN LIGHT (MY FAVORITE!)

Not that long ago, I worked crazy hours in the video game industry with lots of talented people including this smarty, Lou. We made a ridiculous amount of videos for Skylanders fans with Lou as the silly and wonderful host, and we played with a lot of toys. 😬

Hooray for work friends who turn into real friends, and then make amazing kid friends. How CUTE is this family?!!
